Rate

Most crypto venues profit when their users trade and lose. Rate turns that around: you deposit a token you already hold, set your price, and traders who fill against you pay you the fee, with your downside ending at the price you quote.

Description

Most crypto products are built to make you trade, and most traders lose money doing it. Rate is built the other way round. It is an onchain exchange where the person holding a token sets the rate they'd sell at, and lets the market come to them.

Bring one token. It rests in a band of liquidity at the rate you chose. Nothing is swapped up front, and there's no fee to deposit. As traders buy through your rate, your tokens convert gradually, and the taker fee they pay goes to you and the other providers in that band.

Underneath is one engine with an onchain order book and banded liquidity pools, so every trade finds the best rate across both. Rate also includes a launchpad for new tokens, with a fixed-step launch sale that graduates into a pool. It has a self-custodial passkey wallet with no seed phrase, and an agent plugin so AI assistants can quote and trade within limits the user sets.
