Solana Campus Marketplace is a decentralized platform designed to connect students who want to buy, sell, or trade goods within their campus community.
Inspired by Jiji, it brings the convenience of an online marketplace to the student ecosystem but with a powerful twist: blockchain integration using Solana Pay.
Progress During Hackathon
🚀 Progress During Hackathon Ideation & Planning: Defined the problem of student-to-student commerce on campus and designed a solution powered by Solana Pay. UI/UX Design: Created wireframes and initial layouts for the marketplace (item listing, service requests, payment flow). Frontend Development: Built a working prototype with pages for item/service listings, user registration, and dashboard. Blockchain Integration: Set up Solana Pay integration for secure and fast transactions. Team Collaboration: Split tasks across design, frontend, and blockchain syncing daily to track progress. Challenges Overcome: Resolved Solana Web3 setup errors and tested payment flow integration. Next Steps: Complete transaction history tracking, polish UI, and deploy demo for live testing.
