Description

Description (paste into the editor, and use its bold button for the headings if you like) Steward lets anyone trade tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain by chatting on WhatsApp. No crypto wallet app needed.

The problem

Robinhood Chain puts real stock tokens on-chain, but buying one still means a wallet, a DEX, approvals and gas. Millions of people, especially in emerging markets like Nigeria, want US stocks but will never use a crypto wallet. They already use WhatsApp every day.

How it works

1. You text: "Buy AAPL with 0.5 USDG".

2. An AI agent (SERV Reasoning, prompt-injection guard on) picks the right action.
3. Steward quotes the best route via KyberSwap, with LI.FI as fallback, and checks the calldata, contracts, minimum output and fees in code.

4. You get an exact review: pay, receive, minimum, max network fee, 4-minute expiry. 5. You tap Confirm. The trade executes from your own Privy wallet on Robinhood Chain, and you get a receipt with an explorer link.

Progress During Hackathon

The buildathon opened on September 14, and all of Steward was built after that, so all of it counts: Built from scratch during the Buildathon (Sept 19 onward): - WhatsApp bot with consent-based onboarding and a Privy wallet per user - AI intent routing with SERV Reasoning and prompt-injection guard - Mainnet stock-token trading (AAPL, NVDA, TSLA) via KyberSwap, with LI.FI fallback - Exact trade reviews, single-use confirmation, fee ceilings and receipt verification - Mainnet USDG payments and a testnet Demo USD mode - Reliability fixes: gas-limit handling and recovery of unsent transactions - 101 automated tests, CI, Docker deployment on Railway - Live mainnet trades confirmed, 4 users onboarded Next before the deadline: more stock tokens, a landing page and more users.

Fundraising Status

Not raised yet. Steward is self-funded and built during the Buildathon. We're open to grants and pre-seed conversations, and plan to use the Founder House program to validate traction with more users before raising.
