Uchiha
A decentralized identity wallet inspired by the power of control — enabling users to own and manage their identity securely across Web3 platforms.
Videos
Description
Uchiha is a decentralized identity management platform built on Ethereum. Inspired by the themes of privacy and sovereignty, our project empowers users to securely store, manage, and verify their identity data across multiple dApps using smart contracts and decentralized storage (e.g., IPFS). With Uchiha, users gain full control over their data while eliminating the need for third-party verification services.
Core Features:
Self-sovereign identity (SSI)
Verifiable credentials (VCs)
Cross-dApp identity verification
Secure private data vault
Tech Stack:
Ethereum
Solidity
IPFS
React + Tailwind
RainbowKit / Wagmi
Progress During Hackathon
Progress During Hackathon During the hackathon, we made significant progress in building the core of Uchiha, our decentralized identity wallet: Developed the main frontend interface using React and Tailwind Integrated wallet connection via MetaMask and RainbowKit Implemented Ethereum-based smart contracts for identity creation and claim validation Stored user identity data securely on IPFS with encryption Generated DIDs (Decentralized Identifiers) tied to wallet addresses Built an initial flow for creating and issuing Verifiable Credentials (VCs) Designed the user experience to be intuitive, privacy-focused, and Web3-native We are currently refining the credential sharing mechanism and plan to add more dApp integration features after the hackathon.
