Description
## What is Untch?
Untch is the deterministic control and consumer execution layer for autonomous agents.
Agents are becoming capable of searching, comparing products, calling paid APIs, managing wallets and initiating transactions. But giving an agent access to money is not the same as giving it authority.
A wallet balance tells an agent what it can access. It does not define what the agent is allowed to do.
Untch closes that gap.
Before money moves, every proposed action is converted into a bounded intent and checked against user-approved rules such as:
• total and daily budgets
• per-action limits
• category and provider allowlists
• recipient restrictions
• duplicate protection
• quote expiry
• nonce and replay protection
• verification requirements
• approval thresholds
The policy engine then returns APPROVE, BLOCK or ESCALATE.
No LLM decides whether a payment is permitted.
When human approval is required, it is bound to one exact action. Changing the amount, recipient, task, quote, nonce or expiry invalidates that approval.
## How Untch works
The lifecycle is:
Human mandate
→ Agent proposal
→ Bounded intent
→ Deterministic policy check
→ Approve, block or escalate
→ Controlled execution
→ Delivery verification
→ Auditable receipt
The agent remains free to reason, search, compare and propose. Untch controls whether the resulting financial action is authorised.
This means users do not need to approve every small transaction manually, but agents also never receive unlimited financial freedom.
## The Consumer Pack
Untch is expanding beyond policy preflight into a governed consumer execution layer.
A user can create a funded Consumer Session with:
• a total spending limit
• a per-action cap
• an expiry
• approved categories
• approved providers
• approved agents
• automatic approval thresholds
• escalation rules
• a refundable unused balance
Compatible agents can then use that session to perform real consumer actions without requiring a new wallet payment for every request.
The Consumer Pack is organised into six service families:
### Untch Consumer Session
Create, fund, pause, revoke and close bounded spending sessions for autonomous agents.
### Untch Mail
Send transactional emails, acquire agent inboxes, renew communication services and track delivery.
### Untch Domains
Check domain availability, retrieve quotes and progressively support registration, renewal and DNS management through step-up verification.
### Untch Shop & Gifts
Search for products, purchase digital assets, recommend gifts and execute approved consumer orders through integrated providers.
### Untch Travel
Search, compare and eventually book travel through governed intents that bind the traveller, route, dates, fare conditions, final amount and cancellation policy.
### Untch Consumer Status
Track funding, provider execution, delivery, refunds, verification and final receipts in real time.
Each capability is activated only after its provider payment and delivery flow has been verified.
## Live proof
Untch is live on OKX.AI as Agent Service Provider #6086.
The first verified Consumer Pack execution completed a real domain-availability action through StableDomains:
• deterministic policy approval
• 0.05 USDC settled on Base
• provider result returned
• result independently verified against public RDAP registry data
• treasury delta reconciled exactly
• ledger obligation returned to zero
• Consumer Intent reached COMPLETED
Transaction:
0xe7ce102f7a704e9c3113fc7fcc8626db8a9cdc330e614d023c231e88fce21e86
Untch did not trust the provider to grade its own delivery. It independently checked the public registry before marking the action complete.
## Architecture
Untch includes:
• deterministic policy engine
• bounded SpendIntent and Consumer Intent models
• exact one-time approvals
• x402 payment support
• provider adapter registry
• multi-rail treasury routing
• append-only accounting ledger
• duplicate and replay protection
• delivery verification
• real-time workflow events
• public and private receipts
• emergency provider, asset and execution controls
Users may fund Untch in one supported asset while Untch settles a provider through the provider’s required payment rail. Provider wallets are pre-funded so the user does not wait for an on-demand bridge or swap.
Every leg is joined in one receipt.
## Why Untch matters
A prompt can ask an agent to buy a domain, send an email, book a trip or purchase a gift.
A prompt cannot provide the provider integration, payment settlement, identity workflow, delivery verification, refund handling and exact financial authority required to complete those actions safely.
Untch provides that missing execution layer.
The long-term vision is one governed consumer account that any compatible agent can use across services, shopping, domains, communication and travel.
Agents act.
Untch decides whether money moves.
The model never touches the money.
Progress During Hackathon
Untch began as a deterministic payment-policy service for autonomous agents and evolved during the hackathon into a broader control and consumer execution layer.
## Shipped during the hackathon
• Listed and approved on OKX.AI as ASP #6086
• Built deterministic APPROVE, BLOCK and ESCALATE policy decisions
• Added bounded SpendIntents with amount, recipient, task, quote, nonce and expiry binding
• Added exact one-time human approvals
• Added mutation rejection when an approved action is changed
• Added delivery verification and auditable lifecycle receipts
• Integrated x402-compatible paid services
• Built operator dashboards and a public receipt explorer
• Added provider trust, duplicate protection and policy tracing
• Shipped five initial OKX.AI services
## Consumer Pack expansion
The project was then expanded into a production-grade consumer execution system with:
• Consumer Intent state machine
• provider registry and typed provider adapters
• Base USDC x402 settlement
• Solana and Tempo payment-rail foundations
• pre-funded treasury routing
• append-only accounting ledger
• provider and chain spending limits
• emergency pause controls
• workflow workers and transactional outbox
• Server-Sent Events for real-time status
• Consumer Pack operator interfaces
• domain, email, commerce, travel and fulfilment adapters
• Consumer Session architecture for bounded multi-action spending
## Production verification
A cold adversarial audit found and fixed critical issues involving:
• x402 v1 and v2 payment-header compatibility
• tenant isolation
• zero-value ledger constraints
• provider maturity resets
• dead treasury caps
• settlement-failure handling
• duplicated payment options
• fabricated development transaction references
The repository currently passes 589 tests with zero failures, clean typechecks and a successful production build.
## First real Consumer Pack execution
Untch completed a real 0.05 USDC provider settlement on Base for a StableDomains domain-availability check.
The provider result was independently verified through public RDAP data before the Consumer Intent was marked complete.
The next stages are activating Consumer Sessions, email delivery, shopping, gifts, domain registration and travel through additional verified provider integrations.
Fundraising Status
Untch is currently bootstrapped and has not raised external capital.
The immediate focus is shipping the Consumer Pack, activating additional provider integrations, growing real paid usage through OKX.AI and proving repeated consumer demand.
We are open to strategic partnerships with payment infrastructure, commerce, domain, communication and travel providers. After validating transaction volume and consumer retention, we intend to explore a pre-seed round to expand treasury liquidity, provider coverage, security audits and go-to-market execution.
