Project Name: Decentralized Lending and Borrowing on Mantle Network
Overview:
This project builds a decentralized lending and borrowing platform on the Mantle network, allowing users to lend crypto assets and earn interest, or borrow assets by providing collateral. By leveraging Mantle's scalability and low fees, the platform ensures a seamless and cost-effective experience for users.
Key Features:
- Lending & Borrowing: Users can lend crypto assets to earn interest or borrow by locking collateral.
- Interest Rate Model: Algorithmic rates based on supply and demand.
- Collateral Management: Automatic liquidation if collateral value falls below a threshold.
- Low Fees & Fast Transactions: Built on the Mantle network for efficient, low-cost operations.

Progress During Hackathon
1. Research: Explored decentralized lending and borrowing concepts, studying platforms like Aave and Compound. 2. Smart Contracts: Developed contracts in Solidity for lending, borrowing, interest calculation, and collateral management. 3. Testnet Deployment: Deployed smart contracts on Sepolia for live testing. 4. Frontend Development: Built the landing page and user interfaces using React.js. 5. Backend Development: Developed the backend with Node.js and integrated it with the frontend and smart contract ABI. 6. Testing: Conducted extensive testing to ensure seamless operation.
