I wanted to share a bit about why I built the buymepizza website and why I chose to use a web3 approach for it. The idea is rooted in the "1000 True Fans" theory by Kevin Kelly. The theory basically says that if a creator can get 1000 true fans who are willing to pay for their work, they can sustainably support their creative endeavors. With buymepizza, I aim to make it easier for creators to connect with their fans and receive direct support. Using web3 technology, we can ensure more transparency and direct transactions without the need for middlemen. This way, creators get to keep more of what they earn, and fans can see exactly where their money is going.
