CRESCA - Project Description

What is CRESCA?

CRESCA is a mobile-first DeFi wallet application built on Mantle Network that bridges traditional finance with decentralized finance through Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization.

Problem Statement

Traditional DeFi wallets lack access to real-world investment opportunities. RWA investments remain inaccessible to retail investors, managing recurring crypto payments is complex, and portfolio diversification requires multiple manual transactions.

Solution

CRESCA provides a unified mobile platform offering secure wallet management with mnemonic backup, one-click diversified portfolio creation through bundle tokens, automated recurring transactions via scheduled payments, access to tokenized real estate, bonds and invoices through an RWA marketplace, and best swap rates via DEX aggregation.

Target Users

CRESCA serves crypto newcomers seeking simple portfolio management, DeFi users wanting RWA exposure, businesses needing automated payment solutions, and investors looking for yield-bearing tokenized assets.

Technical Foundation

The app is built with React Native and Expo for cross-platform mobile support, deployed on Mantle L2 for low fees and EVM compatibility, uses Solidity smart contracts with OpenZeppelin standards, and implements hardware-backed secure storage for private keys.

Progress During Hackathon

During this hackathon, we built Cresca from the ground up as a mobile-first DeFi wallet on Mantle Network. On the smart contract side, we developed and deployed six core contracts to Mantle Sepolia including BundleToken for weighted portfolio baskets, RWAToken and RWAMarketplace for tokenizing and trading real world assets like real estate and bonds, ScheduledPayment for automated recurring transactions, DEXAggregator for optimal swap routing, and KYCRegistry for tiered compliance verification. For the mobile application, we created a complete React Native app with Expo featuring secure wallet creation and import with mnemonic backup, one-tap network switching between testnet and mainnet, QR code payments for easy transfers, and full smart contract integration via ethers.js. The app includes an intuitive interface for managing portfolios, investing in RWA vaults with different risk levels and yields, creating custom token bundles with up to 20x leverage, and scheduling recurring payments.

Fundraising Status

Current Stage Pre-Seed / Hackathon Phase CRESCA is currently in the early development stage, built during the Mantle Hackathon. No external funding has been raised yet. Funding Goals Seed Round Target Seeking $500K - $1M to accelerate development and launch on Mantle Mainnet.
