EXIGENCY

Greetings to everyone! I am excited to present our healthcare app prototype, Exigency, which is built to help people in times of emergency and keep track of their doctor consultations, book blood tests, order medicines and provide knowledge about first aid emergencies.
As the app opens, we have two sections: Emergency which is used in times of distress and another Dashboard where people can keep track of their health on a general basis.
When we click on Emergency, a list of options are available. Select the area of trouble. For example -  Heart. The app then asks permission for your location to find the nearest hospital where a cardiologist and the necessary resources would be available and displays it on the screen. Users can also browse other hospitals if certain criteria do not meet their requirements. Furthermore, there are 2 options. Either they can call an ambulance to their location or reach the hospital using the Google Maps link displayed on the screen.
Now, we move on to the Dashboard. The users will sign up on the app and answer a few questions to get started. Then comes the main interface where there are 5 sections to help keep track of your health.
Firstly, we go to the Consult doctors option. Let’s say we want to book an appointment with a cardiologist on the 25th at 10 AM physically. The app displays the nearest doctor available to you and also shows a list of other doctors who can attend to your needs. Select a doctor and click on confirm appointment. A confirmation page will be generated with all the details.
Going back to the dashboard and moving to book blood tests. Let’s say we want our blood tests to be done by Lab A on the 17th at 10 AM. We select it and hit book. The response page shows the necessary details of the appointment.
Then comes the third option - Immunisation. This shows you the necessary vaccinations required at the age you entered. You can also check out your vaccination history.
Further going, comes the Medicines section. You can order your medicines through the app and also search for the medicines according to your prescription. Then simply click add to cart, enter your details and confirm your order.
Last but not the least - First Aid. In this section, you can get all the crucial information regarding First - Aid techniques which everyone should be aware of in case of emergency. For instance, we select CPR. Here, we can check the procedure of giving CPR, which might be of use in times of distress.
This app has a huge impact on society since even in today’s world, complete healthcare facilities aren’t available everywhere. Many people lose their lives due to this very reason every year. Thus, this app provides the best hospitals nearest to you where the patient can be looked after with utmost care and equipped with all required resources and equipment.
