GCOP (Git Copilot) is an innovative tool designed to enhance Git workflows by automating commit message generation using AI. During this hackathon, we've integrated GCOP with GaiaNet, a decentralized computing infrastructure for AI. This integration allows users to leverage GaiaNet's distributed network of AI nodes for generating commit messages, offering a more decentralized and potentially more efficient solution. GCOP simplifies Git operations with powerful aliases and now provides users the option to use GaiaNet's AI capabilities, showcasing the potential of decentralized AI in developer tools.
Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, we focused on integrating GCOP with GaiaNet. Our key achievements include: -Implemented GaiaNet as an AI provider option in GCOP's configuration. -Developed and tested the integration with GaiaNet's llama model. -Updated GCOP's documentation to include instructions for setting up and using GaiaNet nodes. -Created a new configuration guide specifically for GaiaNet integration. -Conducted extensive testing to ensure seamless functionality with GaiaNet's decentralized infrastructure.
