Our project is a cutting-edge facial recognition web application designed for police departments to maintain and manage a real-time criminal database. This system integrates a comprehensive database of all surveillance cameras in the city, enabling continuous monitoring and tracking of individuals across various locations. The application allows police officers to add, edit, or update the criminal database with ease. It also offers a detailed criminal log, providing insights into recent activities and whereabouts of suspects.

In addition, the system provides advanced search capabilities, enabling authorities to search the entire database by encoding real-time camera feeds. Officers can also place individuals under surveillance by simply uploading or dropping an image, making it easier to monitor movements in real time. Alerts and notifications can be set to trigger when a suspect is detected, with notifications sent via WhatsApp, Gmail, or SMS, including snapshots for immediate action.

Furthermore, the system integrates WhatsApp as a tool to quickly check if a suspect has a criminal record, enhancing field operations. A real-time map feature tracks a suspect's movement by utilizing camera IDs, allowing authorities to visualize and trace their path throughout the city. This seamless integration of facial recognition, real-time feed encoding, alert systems, and map plotting offers law enforcement a powerful tool for improving public safety and criminal tracking.
