Mantle (MNT) is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. It leverages Optimistic Rollup technology to securely log transactions off-chain before settling them on-chain, offering lower transaction fees and higher throughput compared to Ethereum. Mantle core product includes mETH Protocol and mBTC.

Mantle APAC Hackathon, co-hosted by Mantle Foundation, HackQuest, and OpenBuild, launches this November. This online hackathon for developers across Asia-Pacific will run for over a month, with 4 major tracks and 30k prize pool!

Whether it's integrating with real-world assets (RWAs), creating a novel lending or staking protocol, or designing a new liquidity mining mechanism, your project should highlight the limitless potential of DeFi on Mantle.Ideas, but don’t limit yourself to just these:

How We Judge

Innovation 30% - Breakthroughs and originality in project technology or narrative.

Ecosystem Contribution 30% - The project's integration with the Mantle ecosystem, its contribution to ecosystem, and scalability within the ecosystem.

User Experience 10% - The logical flow of the project's interface and operations, along with good user experience design.

Impactful 10% - The project's adaptability to real-world applications whether it addresses existing industry issues, has social impact, etc.

Technical Implementation 10% - Technical security and feasibility; the degree of integration with blockchain technology.

Team Background 10% - Whether the team has a solid background, entrepreneurial experience, community user base, and alignment with Mantle's vision, etc.

To encourage active participation and exploration, the Mantle APAC Hackathon offers generous rewards besides the $30,000 prize pool, including:

Project Grants: Each project is eligible to apply for up to 20,000 MNT in funding, providing robust support for project development.

$200 Million Ecosystem Fund (EcoFund): Outstanding projects may secure long-term funding and resources from the Mantle Foundation’s ecosystem fund.

Mantle X HackQuest Accelerator: Winning Projects will get interviewed for Mantle Global Accelerator. If selected, projects will be granted $20k grant from Mantle.

These incentives not only help developers bring projects to life but also highlight Mantle’s long-term commitment to innovation and community growth. Participants’ achievements in the Hackathon can lead to ongoing support, accelerating real-world blockchain adoption.
