Descripción

Nairobi Mini Hack

Overview

The Nairobi Mini Hack is a high-energy, 12-hour prototype sprint bringing together developers, creatives, and innovators to explore the future of Web3. This edition marks a key moment in Kenya’s builder movement not just about coding, but about collaboration, rapid problem-solving, and creating impactful MVPs that can scale into real solutions.

Concept

The Mini Hack is designed to empower builders with hands-on learning, mentorship, and ecosystem support. Through guided sessions and access to cutting-edge developer tools, participants will move from raw ideas to working prototypes in record time. This is where builders test, learn, and ship.

Tracks

The hackathon features three specialized tracks, each focused on practical ecosystem adoption:

  • Sui Track – Build with Sui’s next-gen blockchain infrastructure and explore its use cases.

  • Curvegrid Track – Use the MultiBaas tool to simplify smart contract integration and build cross-chain apps.

  • BuidlGuidl Track – Leverage Scaffold-ETH to rapidly prototype decentralized apps and experiment with new ideas.

Why Participate?

  • Access mentorship from leading protocol teams and experts.

  • Compete for prizes, bounties, and builder recognition.

  • Learn cutting-edge tools directly from ecosystem partners.

  • Be part of a community driving blockchain adoption in Africa.

Who Can Join?

  • Nights of Code finalists.

  • Developers, designers, and creatives ready to build.

  • Students, early-stage founders, and Web3 enthusiasts.

  • Anyone passionate about using blockchain to solve real challenges.
