REQUIREMENTS

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst,

You'll play a crucial role in making our budgeting, forecasting, and modelling functions more efficient. By dedicating a specific resource to these activities, we aim to enhance our reporting structure and free up time for more strategic initiatives as we embark on our next phase of growth. You'll closely collaborate with our Commercial Finance Manager and have the opportunity to grow into the 2IC (second-in-command) position in Commercial Finance.


Some of the things we’d expect you to do are to…

  • Own the process for preparing key commercial data as part of the month-end process, including populating Management Reports, owning the accuracy and completeness of databases and instigating process improvement where necessary.
  • Assist with financial analysis for the Monthly Management Reports and clearly articulate the key performance drivers for the month.
  • Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with the Annual Budget Process and engage with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with the expansion process by maintaining a firm understanding of the Capex growth requirements and assist with analysing business cases from the Operational Development team.
  • Where needed, support the Commercial Finance Manager on Key Strategic Initiatives whether it is capital raising, analysing business cases for new warehousing arrangements or any other key strategic initiatives.


We would need you to be or have the following…

  • Adept at PowerBI and SQL.
  • Management reporting skills – experience in analysing and reporting financial results.
  • Financial Modelling Skills – ability to update models in Excel (3 Way model, Forecast, Budget).
  • Business Acumen – can demonstrate an understanding of generating analytical insights in historical results to drive informed decision-making (i.e., business partners to understand operational performance).
  • Stakeholder Management – demonstrate an ability to manage different stakeholders.
