The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and investigating and resolving compliance issues.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that addresses all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

* Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

* Monitor and audit compliance activities to ensure effectiveness.

* Investigate and resolve compliance issues and violations.

* Provide training and education to employees on compliance-related topics.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities.

* Advise management on legal and regulatory issues.

* Stay abreast of all relevant laws and regulations.

* Represent the organization in regulatory examinations and investigations.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance across the organization.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.

* Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

* Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)).
