AgriSpy is an innovative, AI-powered, Satellite IoT-based smart farming solution designed to transform traditional agricultural practices by enabling real-time pesticide effect monitoring. It is a low-cost, hardware-software integrated system that uses drones equipped with sensors, cameras, and edge AI to monitor crop health, detect pest infestations, and analyze the effectiveness of pesticide applications. Traditional pesticide spraying methods often lead to overuse of chemicals, crop damage, and environmental degradation, while existing drone solutions lack real-time feedback on the impact of spraying. AgriSpy addresses this gap by incorporating multispectral and thermal cameras, soil and environmental sensors, gas detection modules, and GPS navigation to collect comprehensive field data. This data is processed locally using TinyML and transmitted via Skylo Satellite IoT, ensuring uninterrupted communication even in remote rural areas. The system uses AI models to generate smart recommendations on pesticide usage and displays real-time insights through a user-friendly dashboard or mobile app. Farmers can view live crop health indicators, pest alerts, sensor data, and drone location, along with AI-based spray suggestions. The drone operates autonomously through a ROS-based control system, with options for manual override. AgriSpy is built with affordability and scalability in mind, with an estimated cost of just Rs 3500, making it accessible to small and marginal farmers. It also integrates technologies like MQTT for data transfer, TensorFlow Lite for AI analysis, and QGroundControl for drone mission planning. The system aligns with India’s Digital Agriculture Mission and offers a significant step toward sustainable and precision agriculture. AgriSpy has the potential to reduce chemical wastage, improve crop yield, and promote environmentally friendly farming practices. Future plans for AgriSpy include integration with global satellite networks like Starlink, blockchain for pesticide traceability, and AI chatbot support for farmer assistance. Overall, AgriSpy is not just a drone system but a complete digital farming companion designed to empower farmers with data-driven, real-time agricultural intelligence.

During the hackathon, significant progress has been made on the development of the AgriSpy Interactive Dashboard. The dashboard is now fully functional with an intuitive UI, featuring real-time data visualization, crop health monitoring, and sensor-based alerts. Key modules such as live drone telemetry, pesticide recommendation reports, and weather integration have been successfully implemented. The platform ensures a smooth user experience and enables farmers or stakeholders to make informed decisions based on AI-driven insights. The dashboard was built using React.js, Tailwind CSS, Chart.js, and integrated with real-time IoT data streams to reflect current field conditions.
