Waste at Best
SurplusMarket: Turn Surplus into Success
SurplusMarket is a B2B marketplace designed to combat food waste by connecting businesses to buy and sell surplus food inventory.
How it Works:
Post Your Surplus: Restaurants and other food businesses can quickly list excess inventory, including details on quantity, freshness, and pickup times.
Buyers Find & Purchase: Caterers, shelters, grocers, and other buyers can browse local listings, make offers, or buy items instantly.
Coordinate Pickup: Sellers and buyers connect to arrange a seamless pickup, completing the transaction.
By using SurplusMarket, businesses can reduce waste, recover costs, and make a positive environmental and social impact. The platform supports a more sustainable food ecosystem and facilitates donations to shelters and non-profits, helping to provide thousands of meals to the community.
