Problem Statements-

1. Smart Surveillance for Public Spaces

Develop an autonomous robot with DeepStream-powered vision to monitor and alert unusual activity in public spaces, such as parks, malls, or university campuses.

● Focus: Object and people detection, crowd density estimation, and anomaly detection.

● Robotics Component: Use a mobile robot platform to patrol areas autonomously.

2. Healthcare Monitoring Bots for Smart Hospitals

Create a robot to assist healthcare facilities by monitoring patient activity, detecting falls, and ensuring hygiene compliance.

● Focus: Video analytics for patient tracking, gesture detection, and mask compliance.

● Robotics Component: Design a bot that can navigate hospital corridors autonomously and react based on video insights.

3. Smart Retail Inventory Management

Design a robot that combines video analytics with autonomous navigation to monitor inventory, customer flow, and store shelf conditions in real-time.

● Focus: Object counting, shelf management, and customer activity heat mapping.

● Robotics Component: Use a robot to patrol aisles and respond to inventory needs, alerting staff as necessary.

4. Traffic Monitoring and Incident Detection for Smart Cities

Develop a robot with a video analytics system to monitor traffic flow, detect incidents, and analyze pedestrian safety in real time.

● Focus: Vehicle and pedestrian detection, congestion analysis, and anomaly alerting.

● Robotics Component: An AMR that could navigate urban spaces or designated routes and provide data to city authorities.

5. Warehouse Bot for Secure and Smart Inventory Control

Build a robot for autonomous surveillance and real-time inventory tracking in warehouses.

● Focus: Real-time object detection, object tracking, and data collection for warehouse optimization.

● Robotics Component: The robot autonomously navigates shelves, performs item counting, and alerts staff to any unusual activities.

6. Environmental Monitoring Bot for Hazard Detection

Design a robot that autonomously surveys industrial areas to detect environmental hazards like smoke, heat spots, or spills.

● Focus: Object and thermal anomaly detection using DeepStream to identify hazards.

● Robotics Component: Equipped with sensors and video analytics, the robot navigates areas and provides real-time alerts.
