We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT professional to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in systems, networks, and infrastructure, who are looking to grow in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT/Computer-related course
- Strong working knowledge of major operating systems: Linux/UNIX, Windows OS, and macOS
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Hands-on experience in BIOS/UEFI troubleshooting and system boot diagnostics
- Proficient in Linux commands and remote troubleshooting using PuTTY/SSH
- Ability to perform system log analysis beyond basic tools (e.g., /var/log/, application logs)
- Experience in Windows server and workstation hardware troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows Server Core management and administration (roles, features, disk management)
- Familiarity with Active Directory permissions (ACLs) and Group Policy configuration
- Understanding of storage technologies including NAS, SAN, RAID, Tape, USB, and virtual storage concepts
- Solid knowledge of file systems (NTFS, FAT, ext4), permissions, backup, and recovery methodologies
- Basic knowledge of MS Exchange Server, MS SQL, and Oracle database commands
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS) using CLI tools (ping, ipconfig, Nmap, traceroute, etc.)
- Experience in firewall rule configuration, port troubleshooting, and identifying latency or packet loss
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system, hardware, and network-related issues
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize system and network performance
- Perform root cause analysis using logs and diagnostic tools
- Manage and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy
- Configure and maintain virtualization environments and storage systems
- Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and network performance issues
- Ensure proper implementation of backup and recovery procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical concerns
