Built on Robinhood Chain

Fara runs on Robinhood Chain Testnet with 536 tokenized stocks available as ERC-20 tokens via MockSwap — a constant-product AMM with real on-chain swaps. Every mint is a real transaction. Every holding is on-chain.

Fara — Old Norse for "to travel, to journey." Because the best investments are the ones you discover along the way.

This project has a longer story than most. It was first submitted to buildathlon NYC Open House as SnapnInvest and didn't make it through. Instead of moving on, we used that rejection as a forcing function. Over the months between cycles, we spoke with potential users, had conversations with brand representatives, and tested the core concept with people who had zero crypto experience. The feedback was consistent: the snap-to-invest mechanic was compelling, but the framing was wrong. "Investing" as the lead felt intimidating to newcomers; "hunting" and "adventure" made people lean in. So we pivoted. SnapnInvest became Fara — repositioned around gamification and discovery, with themed challenge hunts, a full rebrand, overhauled UX, ConnectKit wallet integration, and MockSwap DEX built directly into the mint flow. The rejection from the previous cycle turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to the product.
