Financial Modeler

Job Description:

• Use Excel to produce high-quality spreadsheets and reports for stakeholders
• Use financial analysis tools to evaluate portfolio options and advise stakeholders
• Provide predictive forecasts, such as expected cost of sales needs or anticipated sales figures
• Create and present easy-to-understand models for stakeholders
• Work with other departments for decision-making and forecasting
• Define and communicate cost trends and project cost performance for program management attention and action
• Analyze data and quantify cost risk and opportunities
• Employ analytics, summarize and present findings to aid decision making by Business and Finance leaders
• Understand priorities, validate and clarify business assumptions, and focus on high impact factors that drive performance
•   Proactively work with the business to consider internal and external factors in the environment
• Ensure compliance and champions internal controls and procedures
• Accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network

Job Requirements:

•  5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•  A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, or finance; master's degree, CFA, or diploma in financial planning a plus
• Excellent Excel skills or experience with similar spreadsheet software, including the use of charts, macros, and VBA
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and best practices, such as discounted cash flow (DCF) and financial statements
• A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Experience working in a challenging, fast-paced, and diverse team environment
• Experience utilizing Financial and Analytical skills
• Experience in finance, cost management and/or compliance
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products for financial modeling and analysis and/or statistical programs
• Experience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in person
