Technical Writer

We're in search of a Technical Writer to create exceptional documentation as per project requirements. In this role, you'll work closely with both our internal teams and our clients to produce the required documentation.

You need to have at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Technical Writer.


Core Responsibilities

● Develop documentation that meets applicable standards, appropriate for the intended audience

● Obtain a deep understanding of documentation requirements and translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content

● Evaluate content and develop innovative approaches for improvement

● Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working

closely with various teams to understand and deliver on project

requirements

● Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop,

organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and

process documentation, etc.

● Work with internal and client teams to identify all documentation

repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data

compilation and centralized storage

● Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a

consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation




● Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and clarity.

● IT Knowledge with experience in Process Mapping: Proficiency in IT concepts and terminology, alongside process mapping skills.

● Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly documentation.

● Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting research to gather information from various sources and subject matter experts.

● Documentation Tools: Familiarity with documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace applications, or other relevant documentation platforms.

● Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and clients.

● Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and learn new technologies or systems as needed.

● Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation.

● Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous technical writing projects and documentation samples is highly beneficial.
