Front-End Developer

We are looking for an experienced website designer to join our team of digital marketing professionals based in Australia. The successful applicant will be required to take a static home page mockup and recreate the remainder of the functioning responsive website built in WordPress (using the Elementor Pro page builder) or Shopify (using themes from the Shopify store). The finished website will not only need to be an exact mobile-optimised replica of the prototype, but must also be fully optimised for speed, user experience and search engine optimization. Attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, and a keen eye for design is critical.

Required Skills

● Excellent knowledge of WordPress CMS

● Excellent knowledge of Elementor Page Builder

● Excellent knowledge of Shopify Platform

● Excellent knowledge of Figma web prototyping tool

● Excellent knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles and best practices, design, spacing, typography and layout

● Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail

● Ability to optimize site for maximum speed including image scaling and compression

● Ability to create responsive websites that perform perfectly on all devices

● Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices Desired Skills

● DNS setup, domains names, web hosting, site migration, cPanel, FTP

● HTML / CSS programing languages
