Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our user base among seafarers and establishing partnerships with manning agencies.


This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for driving business growth. 


Key Responsibilities: 


Lead Generation and Outreach: 


  • Identify and qualify potential leads within the maritime industry, focusing on manning agencies and related businesses
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels to create a robust sales pipeline

 

Relationship Building: 


  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at manning agencies
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of the company and its benefits for both seafarers and manning agencies


Product Knowledge: 


  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's product features, benefits, and overall value proposition
  • Effectively articulate how the company addresses the specific needs of seafarers and the maritime industry


Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with overall brand messaging and campaigns
  • Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the maritime or technology industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
