Sales Manager
Job Description
Objectives:
Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
Research consumer needs and identifies how our solutions and product offering meet them
Hire, train, motivate and advise a team of sales representatives
Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
5+ years experience in Sales Management within a corporate setting
Proven track record of success of the sales cycle from planning to closing
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization
Strong negotiation skills
Preferably has experience dealing with Government Agencies and LGU’s thru public bidding (RFQs and ITBs)
Knowledgeable with PhilGeps platform is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends the reach
Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with the team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company relationship with them
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions
Prepare reporting as needed
