The Opportunity:

The HashKey Group is a fast-growing leader in the digital asset space and has set up a global regulated digital asset trading platform. In addition to the trading of digital assets such as Ethereum and Bitcoin, a key function of the exchange will be the tokenization of assets which will also be traded on the platform.


As a senior member of the Regulatory Compliance Team, you will be reporting to the Group Head of Regulatory Compliance, responsible for developing and enhancing their existing compliance policies and procedures, on-going compliance review, handling regulator’s on-site exams, analysing potential impact of regulatory trends and impacts, providing compliance advisory & support to key business lines. 


The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Hong Kong Regulatory Compliance matters
  • Act as regulatory advisor to Virtual asset trading platform, wealth management and asset management business and control functions
  • Serve as the main contact for regulatory authorities, such as SFC
  • Monitor relevant regulatory changes and development
  • Support new business initiatives and ensure related rules and regulation are identified and followed
  • Analyse potential risks of non-compliance and identify areas for improvement, thus to work out remedial measure and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Participate and assist in regulatory compliance-related projects, initiatives and system launch / enhancement
  • Conduct compliance training for staff in accordance with SFC regulations and the firm's policies and training objectives


Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ of experience in regulatory compliance experience
  • Experience of dealing with regulatory matters and confident interaction with Regulators
  • Strong leadership experience and an experienced strategic thinker
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple compliance initiatives and projects
  • Familiar with SFC rules and regulations
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape
