The HRIS Workday Specialist, People Digital Solutions is both a strategic and hands-on role where you will be a team player responsible for partnering with Business Technology (BT) on our roadmap and ensuring we have the right systems and processes in place to deliver an exceptional end-user experience. You will also work across departments and geographies, interacting with our partners in Payroll, BT, Finance, Security, and across the People & Places team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Help our team ensure data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday reports, dashboards, features, and functionality including Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Security functions and features; be a point of contact for data gathering, testing, and communication with key stakeholders and internal Business Technology teams.
- Be comfortable and confident with gathering reporting & configuration requirements.
- Build reports to support Talent Management, Compensation and other areas of the Workday product
- Be a conduit between the HR and BT teams to answer questions or escalate issues as needed; Foster best practice discussions among COEs and end users to realize process improvements and workforce efficiencies.
- Facilitate end-user knowledge transfer through the development of HR systems documentation, training sessions and ongoing COE touchpoint.
- Manage the deployment of new systems functionality, processes and/or integrations in partnership with IT and HR, including executing UAT and providing end-user training.
- Escalation POC for systemic deficiencies and/or issues and existing teams utilizing HR Systems.
- Work with the BT teams and COEs to ensure new reports, processes, system enhancements and integrations are properly tested and documented.
- Maintain and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Understands the data issues and helps with data integrity in Workday. Hands-on working with People Operations Shared Services team and BT to review data issues and provide guidance on how to correct data
- In-depth understanding of Workday processes for Reviews, Calibration and ARP in order to support data integrity during these processes
- 4+ years of experience configuring/maintaining HCM modules in Workday including HCM Core, Compensation, Talent Management, Security Administration, and Business Process Administration.
- Strong expertise in Workday report writing, EIBs, and calculated fields.
- Experience of supporting Workday system upgrades, implementations, go-lives and post go-live technical support.
- Strong technology aptitude and interest in research, data, metrics, and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, remaining agile and flexible in a challenging environment and managing multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and with highly confidential data
- Working knowledge of HR/Finance information systems, including experience in designing, building, and testing processes/reports in various HR/Finance applications.
- Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
