Financial Analyst

1. Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify key insights, trends, and areas for improvement.
2. Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support budgeting and planning processes.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance.
4.Prepares financial statements, management reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
5. Conduct cost analysis, profitability analysis, and return on investment (ROI) evaluations for projects, initiatives, and business opportunities
6. Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities related to financial performance, providing recommendations for mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to analyze financial impacts of business strategies and initiatives.
8. Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including providing guidance on financial targets, assumptions, and scenarios.
9. Participate in financial audits and assist in ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
10 . Develop and maintain financial analysis tools, templates, and methodologies to streamline analysis processes and enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a financial analyst, business analyst, or similar role, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial concepts.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, with the capability to extract insights from complex data sets.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with financial systems and ERP software (MS365) is desirable.
