Commercial Finance Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business partner with the leadership team to identify opportunities to increase profitability, competitor advantage, member value and business growth.
• Build meaningful relationships to deliver beneficial commercial outcomes to the business, teams and members.
• Sales and Financial performance, including gap reporting.
• Trend, competitor and product/customer profitability analysis.
• Act as a critical lead to the leadership team by supporting and guiding them on the preparation of internal reports for key business decision making.
• Provide commercial support for price planning and cost benefit analysis.
• Support business initiatives across promotions, supplier income and rebates, margin improvement and price & mix analysis.
• Key business lead for Finance Projects
• Own and Manage Phocas Dashboards and Standard Reporting in Phocas reporting tool
• Ensure accuracy of data in Phocas databases
• Act as Administrator for Phocas User Access
• Preparation of the annual Sales and Margin Budget including load to Phocas reporting tool
• Support broader Finance Team as and when required

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as finance/analytics professional

• Sound commercial finance acumen with a proven track record of actively driving commercial agendas across the business

• Demonstrated success partnering with non-finance stakeholders

• Demonstrated financial modelling experience

• Advanced knowledge in the use of reporting tools

• Proven ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
