Business Development Specialist / Senior Specialist

Our Client, a Japanese automative MNC and regional regional corporate headquarters located in Singapore is seeking candidates for a Business Development Specialist / Senior Specialist to support development, planning & execution of new mobility solutions & business models 

Mobility Solutions Development, Planning & Execution

• Conduct market research including trends, competitor strategies, regulatory changes, etc
• Assist in feasibility study (commercial & technical viability) and business case development for new mobility solutions across the region
• Support in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders to drive new initiatives
• (incl. translating business requirements into technical solution, etc)
• Monitor / evaluate performance of initiatives against KPI with timely report to managements

Data Analysis & Market Insight

• Develop data-driven insights on customer behavior / vehicle usage pattern from connected car
• Collect, clean and analyze mobility-related data to identify new business opportunities
• Leverage predictive analytics / machine learning to optimize mobility services

Technology & Innovation

• Monitor and assess emerging mobility technologies (autonomous, smart city, etc) and identify potential opportunity (investment / partnership) in ecosystem development

Others

Support other strategic / ad-hoc initiatives as assigned by Management

• 4 – 6 years of business development or project management experience, OR fresh graduate in Business/IT with up to 1-2 years of experience in similar job scope
• Experience in managing IT projects or mobility services will be an advantage
• Experience in data analysis tools (Phyton, SQL, etc) and human-centric design will be an advantage
• Familiarity with financial modeling, market research and business strategy
• Knowledge of mobility trends including CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric)
• Good business acumen, strong analytical skills and communication ability
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in dynamic, multicultural environments
• Ability to travel to Southeast Asia Region & willing to work overtime when required

Skillsets (Nice to Have)

• Working knowledge on IOT / Connected Device, Server / Data Storage, Mobile App / API will be preferred
• Experience in development & execution of smart solutions (payment gateway, etc), IT Technologies, Mobility Services, IOT and value chains (financing, insurance, etc) will be preferred
