Security Engineer

Job Summary:
Work on project implementations involving cybersecurity tools and solutions, and provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers on issues related to security products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Deploy, implement, install, and support IT security products.
· Configure and support security tools such as Endpoint Protection (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM, PAM, File Encryption, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and other cyber security solutions.
· Responsible for creating documentation and best practice guides for our team members and customers.
· Support junior engineers on the team by providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to aid their professional development.
· Provide customer guidance and other security protection policies during support and service calls
· Respond to security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring timely mitigation.
· Recommend cybersecurity best practices and overall improvements to security IT infrastructure.
· Attend cybersecurity seminars, product enablement and trainings
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or any related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years of Network and CyberSecurity experience
Certification/s (Preferred but not Required):
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
· Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
· CompTIA Security+
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Must be Experience with SIEM:
o Good to have: QRADAR or Splunk
· Must be Knowledgeable with Endpoint Protection Platforms or EDR:
o Good to have: TrendMicro, SentinelOne, Bitdefender, CrowdStrike
· Must be Knowledgeable with PAM (Privileged Access Management):
o Good to have: BeyiondTrust PasswordSafe, Manage Engine PAM360
· Must be proficient with network security protocols and tools.
