Responsibilities
- Responsible for Windows and Linux based IT infrastructure maintenance and implementation;
- Provide technical support and system administration on cloud platform to meet service level objectives.
- Execution of data backup & recovery strategy, system disaster recovery and business continuity of the core systems;
- Follow-up security remediations on cloud platform suggested by cybersecurity team;
- Facilitate cloud operation automation;
- Perform cloud operation task such as health check, capacity monitoring, problem solving and escalation in line with company guidelines or standard operating procedures;
- Configure, document, optimize and support the components of the DevOps infrastructure
- Build automated deployments using configuration management technologies
- Provide support and maintain Production, Staging and Dev environments
- Need to shift on weekends and public holidays / flexible working hours on request.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related disciplines;
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in IT of virtualization, server, storage, network, etc.;
- Experience in setting up Windows Server, Linux Server (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL), Network configuration/RPM packaging;
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience organizing infrastructure and configuration as code using Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform or equivalent
- Experience working with modern development pipelines using Bamboo, ArgoCD or similar tools
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
- Excellent team player. Being able to communicate well with internal team members and external clients as project progresses.
- Openminded and positive, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (verbal and written) is a must.
- Experience with OpenSearch / ElasticSearch
