At Thinking IT Corp, we’re a fast-growing technology company committed to building high-performance, modern web applications. Our frontend is powered by Next.js, and our backend runs on Django. We’re on a mission to deliver scalable and reliable software, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our fully remote team.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
  • Create detailed, reusable test cases based on functional and technical requirements
  • Test and validate web applications built with Next.js and Django, identifying bugs early in the development lifecycle
  • Perform cross-browser and mobile testing to ensure platform compatibility
  • Execute automated test suites and provide detailed test reports
  • Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to improve test coverage and system stability
  • Maintain clear documentation of test procedures, logs, and defect tracking
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA Automation for modern web applications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Experience testing applications built with Next.js, React, or Vue
  • Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, Supertest, or similar
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
  • Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote team setup with excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing Django backends, including REST API coverage and database mocking
  • Familiarity with Supabase or other backend-as-a-service tools
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or k6
  • Background in manual testing and QA documentation
