Non-Negotiable:

• Strong knowledge of different SAP modules (architecture)
• Nice to have: Expert in ECC or HANA
• Should not be a job hopper (must have stayed more than a year per company)
• Must not be a present or former employee of CGI
Job Summary:
As an SAP Manager Expert focusing on bids and opportunities, you will be responsible for driving the success of SAP proposals and pre-sales engagements. You will combine deep SAP knowledge with strategic thinking and client-facing capabilities to shape winning solutions and support business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Bid Management & Proposal Development
• Lead end-to-end management of SAP-related RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs.
• Analyze customer requirements and create tailored SAP solutions in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
• Prepare and review proposal documents, solution blueprints, pricing models, and compliance matrices.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, legal, commercial) for input and approvals.
Solutioning & Architecture
• Design high-level SAP solution architectures (R/3, S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, cloud offerings, etc.) tailored to industry-specific needs.
• Recommend best-fit SAP modules, platforms, and integrations for client environments.
• Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies within proposed solutions.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and bid defenses to present and defend SAP solutions.
• Work closely with SAP account managers, partners, and OEMs during joint pursuits.
• Influence stakeholders with a value-based approach to SAP offerings.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Track SAP market trends, competitor positioning, and customer demands.
• Provide strategic inputs to improve win rates and identify new opportunity areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SAP with at least 3+ years in a pre-sales, bid management, or client-facing consulting role
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and products (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Demonstrated experience preparing winning SAP proposals or leading RFP responses
• Experience with industry-specific SAP solutions (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, public sector) is desirable
• Familiarity with SAP partner ecosystems and licensing models is a plus
