The IT Support with Purchasing Function is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software within the company. This role also handles procurement-related tasks, including sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining inventory of IT and office equipment. The position requires a proactive individual who can balance technical troubleshooting with administrative purchasing responsibilities.
key Responsibilities:
IT Support Duties:
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, routers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
• Maintain and update company IT asset records and software licenses.
• Perform regular data backups and ensure data security compliance.
Purchasing Duties:
• Process purchase requests for IT and office supplies, ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels of IT consumables and office supplies and replenish as necessary.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for reporting and audit purposes.
• Coordinate with the Accounting Department for purchase-related documentation and payment processing.
