Senior Accountant

1) Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and review detailed financial reports
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights
• Support Assistant Manager in high-level reporting

2) Month-End & Year-End Closing

• Prepare adjusting entries and accruals
• Reconcile complex accounts, including AR/AP
• Support closing documentation preparation

3) Team Supervision & Development

• Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance
• Assist in training and mentoring team members, ensuring they understand accounting processes, policies, and procedures
• Assist in training for process improvements

4) Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Assist in maintaining and improving internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls for accurate record-keeping and financial reporting

5) Policy Development

• Assist in updating SOPs
• Ensure compliance in day-to-day functions
• Provide input on policy effectiveness

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to gaming and hospitality
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and experience with property management systems (PMS) and gaming management systems (GMS)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is a MUST
