Drupal Developer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Drupal modules and themes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance.

• Work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases for efficient data management.

• Utilize Git for version control and manage deployments with Drush and Composer.

• Apply basic Linux commands for server management as needed.

• Integrate third-party APIs as required.

• Optionally leverage cloud services (Azure) and containerization (Docker) in development workflows.

Core Qualifications and Education

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Drupal development, with a strong understanding of Drupal 8, 9, and 10.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proficient in PHP and Drupal module development.

• Strong understanding of database structures, preferably with PostgreSQL, though MySQL experience is also acceptable.

• Basic to mid-level proficiency with Git, Drush, and Composer.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and Linux command-line tools.

• Understanding of API integration.

• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure) and containerization tools (Docker) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
