Product Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Product Specialist reports to the Senior Product Specialist.

• They conduct product presentations and demonstrations, including client and customer training on the basic operation of the products.

• They are assigned to handle programming and troubleshooting of machines.

• They are tasked to conduct research and analysis of competitors’ products.

• Their role also involves communicating with Principal Suppliers regarding product updates and unresolved issues or concerns.

• They are responsible for evaluating defective products and contributing to after-sales service.

• They also support the Professional Marketing Representatives in closing deals and work with the Service Engineers to ensure optimum machine performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The applicant may or may not have a PRC license, provided that the applicant has a good theoretical background on various laboratory sections and possesses basic operational knowledge with various laboratory machines.

• The job also requires the applicant to be knowledgeable on laboratory machine principles.

• The applicant is expected to have the willingness to learn, travel to different areas nationwide, to work beyond normal working hours such as during weekends, holidays, and beyond the set office hours, if needed, so as not to compromise the work of the department and the operations of the company.

Must have:

• Graduate of BS Medical Technology, fresh graduates are welcome.
