About the Role:
The Compliance Analyst will assist by completing high-risk case investigations and regulatory filings. They will participate in deep-dive investigations, review case escalations, perform quality checks on regulatory reports, and identify opportunities to improve processes and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate suspicious and high-risk customer activities related to AML, CTF, and fraud
- Review escalated cases and submit SAR filings when necessary
- Analyze transactional trends and identify potential risk patterns
- Evaluate monitoring reports and recommend updates to transaction monitoring rules
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Product, Customer Service, and third-party AML partners
- Respond to law enforcement requests as required
- Support operationalization of AML practices for new products and jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with internal AML policies and regulatory standards
- Assist in training and knowledge sharing within the team
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience investigating unusual activity and filing regulatory reports related to AML, CTF, and fraud investigations.
- Strong knowledge of AML and fraud regulations and related typologies within the fintech industry.
- Experience identifying and analyzing transactional behavior patterns and determining regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience escalating unusual patterns of activity for potential risk mitigation.
- Experience working in a compliance-driven environment while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- A relevant industry (Associate-level) certification.
- Experience contributing to operational compliance programs.
- Direct experience in fintech or the financial services industry.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (required). Proficiency in a second language—especially Hebrew, Portuguese, and/or Japanese—is an advantage but not required.
