POSITION TITLE: Independent Front-End Web Developer

WORK LOCATION: Vadodara, India

WORK SETUP: Day Shift

SALARY: INR210K to INR480k

Our IT company specializes in web development, using Django as the backend and currently leveraging Django templates for front-end. We seek a talented, independent Front-End Web Developer to create impressive, fully responsive websites that excel across all platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile). The ideal candidate will transition our front-end to modern JavaScript frameworks like React while seamlessly integrating with our Django backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive, cross-platform web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular, converting Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, reusable components.

• Integrate front-end applications with Django RESTful APIs, managing state (e.g., Redux, Context API), real-time data flows, and secure authentication/authorization.

• Optimize performance with techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and SEO best practices to ensure fast load times and scalability for high-traffic sites.

• Work independently to deliver end-to-end features, conduct code reviews, implement unit/integration testing (Jest, Cypress), and deploy via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel/Netlify).

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG standards), and mobile-first responsiveness, collaborating remotely with backend teams as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio of independent projects showcasing responsive, production-ready websites.

• Expertise in modern JS frameworks (React preferred), TypeScript, responsive design (Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS), and API integration (REST/GraphQL).

• Proficiency in Git for version control, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools).

• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, with excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with Django/Python backends or similar full-stack setups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
