- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant technical certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified, Windows Server, Azure, or equivalent
- Cisco CCNA or higher
- CompTIA Network Plus or Security Plus
- ITIL Foundation preferred
- Cybersecurity certification such as CEH or equivalent is an advantage Experience
- At least five years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
- Minimum three years handling enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Proven experience in Tier 2 technical support and escalation management
- Experience managing servers, storage, and backup systems in a production environment
- Experience supporting integration of BMS, CCTV, access control, or similar facility systems from an IT connectivity and network perspective.
- Experience implementing secure remote connectivity between multiple sites
- Experience in formal change management processes and IT documentation control
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, and secure WAN configuration
- Hands-on experience configuring firewalls and network segmentation
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues
- Experience deploying wireless network deployment and security hardening
- Familiarity with IT/OT network segmentation principles to support building/facilities systems connectivity (e.g., zoning/VLAN separation for BMS/CCTV/access control networks). Server and aaSystems Administration
- Administration of Windows Server and or Linux environments
- Management of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity and access management
- Implementation of role-based access controls
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper V
- Backup and disaster recovery planning and execution Cybersecurity and Compliance
- Implementation of endpoint protection and device control systems
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Firewall rule management and secure configuration practices
- Privileged account management and administrative access governance
- Ability to conduct security reviews and risk assessments
- IT asset inventory control and lifecycle management
- Software license compliance monitoring
- Vendor coordination for equipment repair and support contracts
- Ability to meet defined service level targets and manage critical incident response
- Ability to develop logical network diagrams and system documentation
- Experience maintaining access control matrices and change records
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Ability to analyze operational gaps and recommend improvements
- Understanding of data protection requirements and information security policies
- Ability to align IT controls with site security protocols
- Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery standards
- Awareness of practical site requirements in facilities environments (e.g., controlled access areas, coordination with Security/Operations during outages and changes).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize incidents based on operational impact
- Effective coordination with facility operations, security teams, and external vendors
