Job description:

This is a Work From Office role based in Ortigas.

Our client is seeking a Customer Operations Trainer to support our Customer Operations Training development programs, including new hire onboarding and continued education. The Customer Operations Learning Team is responsible for developing employees through best-in-class onboarding, training, and broad professional development programs. This role is vital for designing and facilitating programs that support the growth of employees—from individual contributors to managers—across the global Customer Operations team. This position requires the ability to work independently as part of a remote team, maintaining regular check-ins via email, Slack, and Google Meet. The role necessitates a willingness to be flexible with daily start and end times as needed to enhance global collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Customer Operations Trainer will be responsible for delivering expertise in Learning and Development to execute key training initiatives:
  • Design, development, and maintenance of eLearnings, just-in-time performance support development materials, and instructor-led course materials that apply to various learning styles
  • Facilitate both onboarding and continued education for new hires and tenured employees, ensuring programs inspire learning and drive productivity
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that learning and training is considered and provided within larger workstreams, such as queue segmentation, tooling updates, product releases, improvements, pilots, and tests within Customer Operations
  • Partner with Workforce Solutions and Customer Support leadership on administrative and communications logistics related to learning initiatives
  • Provide data-driven evaluations for training initiatives while demonstrating return on investment (ROI)
  • Identify improvement areas in current Customer Operations Training processes and resources
  • Build relationships that foster the client's culture and partner with the wider CO-Learning Team on Customer Operations goals and initiatives

Qualification and requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience designing creative, engaging, and impactful training to improve individual and organizational performance
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals
  • Strong presentation skills and professional presence
  • Comfortability facilitating and presenting in both in-person and remote environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers
  • Exemplary change management skills
  • Project management experience and a demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Experience using data to identify trends and make suggested improvements
  • Familiarity with adult learning theory and execution
  • Experience with various learning management systems (LMS)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace



Desired Qualifications (Plus Factors)

  • Experience in working with a global L&D team
  • Experience utilizing AI tools or machine learning methodologies to enhance or streamline training content development and delivery
  • Experience teaching DNS (Domain Name System) configuration and troubleshooting

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
  • Proven experience facilitating onboarding and ongoing training in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Strong instructional design skills with experience creating eLearning and LMS-based content.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a remote setup.
  • Data-driven approach to evaluating training effectiveness and improving programs.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience using LMS platforms.
  • Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid passport for occasional travel.
