Job Title: International Growth Product Manager (MSN China)

Role Overview

As an International Growth Product Manager for MSN China, this role will bridge the gap between advanced technology and premium content experiences. He or she will be responsible for driving the product strategy, feature development, and editorial integration for one of the world’s largest content ecosystems. This role requires a unique blend of product intuition, editorial sensibility, and cross-border project management to ensure MSN remains a top-tier destination for global audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision for MSN’s international markets, focusing on user engagement, retention, and content discovery
  • Collaborate closely with editorial teams to build tools and features that support human-in-the-loop curation alongside AI-driven news feeds
  • Lead the full product development lifecycle—from initial requirements gathering and PRD writing to UAT and global launch
  • Act as the central point of coordination between engineering, design, data science, and regional editorial teams
  • Ensure product localization is culturally adapted (“transcreated”) to fit international markets and content consumption behaviors
  • Utilize A/B testing and engagement metrics to optimize content ranking algorithms and UI/UX performance
  • Support APAC regional leads in managing content partners, conducting meetings, gathering insights, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least 3–5+ years of experience in product management within the digital content, news, or social media industries
  • Strong editorial mindset with experience working alongside editorial teams and understanding content strategy and distribution
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects across multiple time zones
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of global digital trends and experience working in multicultural environments
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus
