Job Title: Technical Odoo Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Odoo Specialist that will help us with system administration and some development work for a project that is live for a couple of years. This is a support role. The successful candidate will join a team composed of a few functional Odoo specialist, a database/network administrator and a project manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in I.T, Computer Science, or related field
• Must have ODOO experience

Responsibilities:

• Be a system administrator. This involves installing module updates, managing production files, running system tasks, monitoring the performance of the system and communicating with other team members.
• Build Odoo custom modules. The client occasionally asks for extensions of the current functionalities and the technical Odoo specialist is expected to build custom modules to address these. This can be building new reports, implementing new business logic, updating existing modules, etc. Other tasks include writing technical documentation, analyzing production issues, etc.
• Aside from the above, there might be work required to get new projects. For potential new clients, the responsibilities can include building prototypes or configuring Odoo to behave in ways that may be desirable by the prospects.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Monitor and resolve support tickets with acceptable quality within acceptable timelines.
• Involvement in new customer acquisition.

Reporting Lines:

• Mainly reporting to the Project Director
• For pre-sales, reporting to the Business Development Director
