Description
- Implement security measures at every stage of application development.
- Conduct security assessments and threat modeling for new and existing applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to applications.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities affecting application security.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience Level: 3–5 years in application security or related roles
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in cloud security, particularly with Azure DevOps, and familiarity with security tools and standards
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to educate development teams on secure coding practices
- Working Conditions: Hybrid work environment with occasional on-site requirements
