Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain backend APIs and services for web and mobile applications.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing codebases.
- Refactor legacy CoffeeScript into TypeScript to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Develop clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with CoffeeScript and 3+ years
- Strong background in MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Skilled in containerization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS including CloudFormation, API Gateway, AppSync/GraphQL).
- Familiar with automation and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, DataDog, and Loggly.
- Knowledge of frameworks like Express, Lodash, Knex, and Sequelize.
- Experienced in microservices architecture and the full software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
