We are looking for a Trainee Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or junior-level candidates with strong programming fundamentals who want to apply their skills to real-world business solutions.


This is a 6-month trainee position with a clear opportunity to advance to a Junior Developer role. You will work on real client projects and learn how to build practical business solutions using Excel and Microsoft Power Platform technologies

Exco IT Services, empowers businesses through customized Microsoft-based solutions that improve efficiency and automate workflows. We develop solutions using Excel, VBA, Power Query, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Lists.

Our projects typically run from one week to two months, giving team members continuous learning and hands-on experience in a supportive environment


Qualifications

  1. Recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  2. Strong understanding of programming concepts and logic
  3. Proficient in at least one programming language (language-agnostic)
  4. Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  6. Willingness to learn VBA, Power Query, and Power Platform tools
  7. Good English communication skills
  8. Able to work independently and within a team


Nice to Have (but not required):

  1. Basic knowledge of data engineering / ETL concepts
  2. Familiarity with relational databases
  3. Experience with JSON or XML
  4. Interest in business processes and automation
  5. Teamwork or project collaboration experience


What You’ll Do

  • Develop real business solutions using Microsoft tools
  • Work on multiple short-term projects (1 week to 2 months)
  • Analyze problems and propose logical, efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in discussions
  • Assist in client requirements gathering
  • Document and organize project outputs
