Key Responsibilities:


1. Talent Sourcing & Recruitment

  • Identify and attract candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and site visits
  • Post job openings for positions such as engineers, foremen, laborers, and admin staff
  • Build and maintain a pool of qualified construction professionals

2. Screening & Selection

  • Review resumes and applications
  • Conduct initial interviews (phone, virtual, or in-person)
  • Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers or project heads
  • Verify credentials, licenses, and work experience (important in construction roles)

3. Hiring & Onboarding

  • Prepare job offers and employment contracts
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements (medical exams, clearances, certifications)
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, especially site workers

4. Coordination with Project Teams

  • Work closely with project managers to understand manpower needs
  • Ensure timely deployment of workers to project sites
  • Monitor workforce requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure hiring complies with labor laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and employee files
  • Track manpower reports and hiring status


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in recruitment (construction industry experience is a strong advantage)
  • Knowledge of construction roles (e.g., civil engineers, electricians, welders, etc.)
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and hiring practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good judgment in candidate selection
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle bulk hiring (especially for project-based roles)


Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional site visits
  • May require field recruitment or job fairs
