GIS Engineer

• Support and help enhance the Enterprise GIS by ensuring effective use, data quality, and system optimization.
• Prepare and maintain key organizational databases and systems to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and readiness for GIS integration.
• Perform routine GIS administration and housekeeping, including user access, license management, and dataset reviews.
• Provide hands‑on support to users, including map creation, use of GIS applications, and setup of desktop GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS).
• Identify and support key GIS users and contribute to use‑case development and internal knowledge sharing.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing GIS usage trends, including historical data and reporting.
• Participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery, resolve service requests, and support production systems.
• Provide backup support to cartography functions and perform other related GIS tasks as required.

Job Requirements

Education & Work Experience

• University degree in Geography, Computer Science / IT, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with GIS in an Enterprise GIS environment
• Strong GIS expertise, including ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online) and QGIS
• Knowledge of GeoNode and GeoServer is an advantage
• Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence experience using SharePoint and Power BI
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus
• Familiarity with organizational IT, map security, and compliance standards is an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong verbal and written communication skills

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid setup, requiring onsite reporting three (3) times per week. Onsite reporting at HQ is mandatory when required.
• Work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Manila Time
