What You Need:

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles with strong Linux administration expertise (Debian/Ubuntu)

• Deep hands-on experience with Proxmox VE, including KVM, LXC, clustering, and virtualization best practices

• Strong knowledge of storage technologies, especially ZFS (required), with additional experience in Ceph, LVM, and backup architectures

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, bridges, routing, TCP/IP, and segmentation strategies

• Advanced scripting and automation skills using Bash/Python, plus hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code principles

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, maintain, and optimize Proxmox VE virtualization environments including KVM, LXC, templates, cloud-init, automation, and scalable infrastructure design

• Manage and tune ZFS, Ceph, LVM, storage pools, and Proxmox Backup Server while implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies

• Design and administer network segmentation, bridges, VLANs, routing, and TCP/IP configurations to improve infrastructure performance, security, and observability

• Automate infrastructure workflows and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python scripting to reduce operational overhead and ensure infrastructure consistency

• Lead monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and infrastructure reliability initiatives using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix while mentoring engineers and driving best practices
